HOW TO JOIN
In accordance with the Investor Protection Association Charter, Organizations which are investors in accordance with legislation of the Russian Federation, and other organizations by decision of the Association, may be members of the Association.
Admission to and expulsion from the Association shall be effectuated by the Council of the Association in the procedure established by the Charter, Foundation Agreement and other internal documents of the Association.
In accordance with Membership Rules in the Investor Protection Association, an applicant organization shall become a member of the Association in compliance with the following conditions:
- receipt by the Association of an application from the applicant organization for admission to the Association;
- presence of not less than two recommendations from members of the Association;
- payment of established dues provided for by internal documents of the Association;
- approval of the candidacy of the applicant organization by not less than half of the votes of members of the Association from the total number thereof.
The following institutions may be associated members of the Association:
- Federal and regional authorities of the Russian Federation local authorities;
- social associations and noncommercial organizations having purposes similar to the purposes and tasks of the Association;
- foreign and international organizations in cases and according to the procedure compliant with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Associated members have the right to participate in all open meetings of the Council of the Association, to participate in discussions of items on the agenda, and the right for advisory vote
