State Duma Investor Protection Committee held Workgroup session

The State Duma Committee held on June 6 the Workgroup session on the development of Corporate Behavior Code The stock market is able to raise investments into the Russian economy on condition that it is reliable. However, one of the sources of risks faced by investors in Russia today, is the low level of corporate governance. One of the possible solutions is the development of Corporate Behavior Code. The Code is being developed by the Federal Commission for the Securities Market together with the experts of the Institute of Stock Market and Management (ISMM) and the Center for Capital Market Development (CCMD). The Workgroup session will cover issues related to organization of general shareholders' meetings.
